Distant learning tools
In line with the assumptions adopted regarding the organisation of education for studies at the University of Silesia in academic year 2020/2021 2020/2021, in in order to ensure the proper quality of remote classes, as well as the safety of participants and their personal data, please work using the following IT tools:
- platform – Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams, Skype for Companies)
- platforma – Moodle
- in the case of other tools, it is necessary for the faculty to have a relevant license agreement, taking into consideration in particular the GDPR requirements.
We reommend video tutorials concerning the operation of Moodle platform and Microsoft Teams software, which will help you get to know the basic functionalities of these applications.
If you need a training in the above-mentioned tools, please apply via the application form.
MOODLE
Currently, each faculty of the University of Silesia has its own Moodle e-platform: https://el.us.edu.pl/, where you can upload courses corresponding to the class modules.

MICROSOFT TEAMS
Teams is an Office 365 app – available for every employee and student of the University of Silesia.
Due to its multifunctionality, Teams can be the “leadership centre” for organising cooperation with students, integrating multiple solutions within the framework of one tool.
